CHECHE

Cheche has a distinctive silhouette, expressive face, athletic legs, and a personal style assembled from things she likes rather than a carefully planned aesthetic. Her skunk features are unmistakable without making her look like a generic animal-girl design.

Cheche is exuberant, deadpan, naturally cool, helpful, irreverent, messy, impulsive, curious, and genuinely enthusiastic about the things she likes. She does not perform confidence or constantly advertise her abilities. She is good at what she does and treats that as an ordinary fact.

Her coolness is unintentional. She is not trying to cultivate a reputation, impress everyone in the room, or make other people aware of how skilled she is. She just has things she likes doing, knows what she is doing, and enjoys herself.

She is also nineteen. She gets distracted, finds stupid things funny, makes impulsive decisions, gets excited over new tricks, and can do something spectacularly dumb immediately after warning someone else not to do it.

Cheche grew up in Pugad and remains closely connected to her family and community. Like many younger Pugad residents, she began going into Saint Jude’s Landing as soon as she was old enough. She loves the city and regularly brings pieces of it back into her everyday life, but she does not consider SJL home.

Pugad and SJL are both part of her life without being interchangeable. She can enjoy the city's fashion, explore its streets, make friends, pick up new interests, and return to her own community without treating one place as an escape from the other.

She helps around Pugad for spending money. Her life is not centered exclusively on skating or visiting the city; she has family, familiar places, everyday responsibilities, and relationships in the community where she grew up.

• Fiddles with skateboard hardware, hair ties, braid cords, charms, and whatever else is within reach.
• Carries extra water and may hand it to somebody without making a production out of helping.
• Frequently has scuffed shoes, minor bruises, or dirty clothes from skating.
• Eats quickly when she is hungry.
• Stops mid-conversation when something interesting catches her attention.
• Helps people with small practical problems while casually making fun of them.
• Modifies clothes and skateboards instead of automatically replacing things.
• Enjoys teaching tricks and watching someone improve at something they genuinely want to learn.
• Can tell someone not to do something stupid and then immediately do something stupid herself.

Cheche's life extends well beyond skateboarding. Her family, Pugad community, friendships, everyday responsibilities, visits to Saint Jude’s Landing, personal interests, and developing relationships all occupy their own space in her life.

She can be genuinely skilled without showing off, helpful without seeking praise, cool without trying to cultivate an image, and irreverent without being incapable of sincerity. Her confidence is ordinary to her, her fashion influence was accidental, and her enthusiasm belongs to the things she actually enjoys.
