Nadia is tall, lanky, naturally athletic, and lean. She has a narrow frame, long limbs, defined muscle, a subtle six-pack, and the kind of physical fitness that comes from a naturally lean build rather than a bulky one.
Her skin is warm brown. She looks physically capable and coordinated, though her actual physical limits are considerably more complicated than her appearance suggests.
Face & Hair
Her face is expressive and feminine, with otherwise human facial structure, large tired dark eyes, and a crooked, amused smile. Dark circles are a familiar part of her appearance.
Her long black hair is gathered into a loose high ponytail. Her human ears remain human.

Slender crane feathering covers her forearms and shoulders. Layered white and charcoal feathers extend across her upper back, with small white feathers framing her temples.
Long, narrow crane wings fold behind her shoulders. They are part of her ordinary body, not decorative accessories.

Her clothes are practical rather than polished. She leaves her outer layers open and does not fuss over looking perfectly put together.
Personality, Without the Performance
Nadia is deadpan, dry, morbid, kind, gentle, stubborn, curious, easygoing, and quietly affectionate. She does not make a production out of herself. She can be tired, uncomfortable, annoyed, amused, or hurting without automatically making those feelings everybody else's responsibility.
She genuinely likes people. She likes strange situations, dumb conversations, and simply being around whatever is happening. She does not need to be the loudest person in a room to enjoy herself, and she does not need constant conversation to feel included.
Quietly Social
Nadia is comfortable spending an entire evening with Ammonia's group contributing very little to the conversation. She can sit with people in comfortable silence, listen to everybody else's nonsense, and still be fully present.
Then she will suddenly say something so fucking funny that everyone loses it, apparently without realizing she has just ruined the room for the next five minutes.
Easygoing, Not Passive
She is patient and difficult to rattle, but that does not mean she accepts everything. She has little patience for condescension, ignored boundaries, unnecessary fussing, or people assuming she cannot make decisions about her own life.
Kind Without Ceremony
Nadia's kindness is understated. She shares food, leans against people she trusts, sends a stupid video because it reminded her of someone, and quietly makes life easier when she notices an opportunity to do so.
She does not need to turn affection into a speech.

Living in Her Body
Nadia lives with hEDS, POTS, MCAS, chronic pain, and unpredictable energy. Her body is naturally athletic and coordinated, but she cannot always rely on her strength or predict how much energy she will have available.
She understands her own limits extremely well because she has to. Joint positioning, fatigue, heat, hydration, and changes in how her body feels are practical information she pays attention to throughout the day. This awareness is ordinary and functional, not a running medical monologue.
Her body is something she lives in, not the only thing she has to talk about. She does not need to be inspirational, tragic, constantly exhausted, or perpetually explaining herself. She can be uncomfortable and still make a joke. She can need rest and still want to investigate something stupid.
Accommodations Are Normal
Nadia modifies activities, adjusts how she sits or stands, takes breaks before she absolutely needs one, and keeps electrolyte water nearby. She uses accommodations without embarrassment or treating rest as a personal failure.
Not Fragile
She has little patience for people who treat disability as helplessness. Her physical limitations are real, but they do not make her incapable of understanding her own body, making decisions, having fun, or doing things she enjoys.
Strength Has Limits
Nadia can look strong and capable while still needing to change plans. Being athletic does not guarantee that her energy will cooperate, and a difficult day does not erase her physical ability.

Constant Adjustments
She adjusts how she sits, stands, or moves without thinking about it. She takes breaks before she absolutely needs one and makes small accommodations as naturally as other people shift in their seats.
Late-Night Internet
She watches bizarre videos at unreasonable hours and sends friends things she finds funny with absolutely no context. The video is the message. The lack of explanation is part of the experience.
Investigating Things
Strange noises attract her attention instead of making her mind her own business. She likes watching people do things she has never tried, finding oddly specific information, and poking around local mysteries.
