TŌGO

Looks Like Trouble. Offers to Carry Your Bags.

A compact, energetic Japanese musk deer demi-human with real branching antlers, dangerously long fangs, and the kind of friendly enthusiasm that can catch an entire room off guard. Tōgo is outgoing, curious, physically affectionate, and almost aggressively helpful. He looks considerably more intimidating than he actually is, which he finds mildly confusing.

Appearance

Face & Expression

Tōgo has warm human skin, a youthful face, and soft features that change constantly with whatever is happening around him. His bright, expressive warm brown eyes make it difficult for him to conceal what he is thinking. Excitement, curiosity, concern, amusement, and surprise tend to appear across his face before he has a chance to say anything.

Hair & Ears

His short black hair is practical and slightly messy, with shaved lines through the sides that give the otherwise simple cut a deliberate edge.

Tōgo has completely human ears. He does not have deer ears.

Build & Movement

Short and compact, Tōgo has a sturdy, athletic build without being bulky. His shoulders are solid, his core is tight, and his limbs carry dense, functional strength. Beneath his warm, smooth skin is a substantial amount of muscle for someone his size.

He carries himself with energetic confidence and moves like he is always ready to get up, go somewhere, or help with something.

Clothing & Hardware

Tōgo favors comfortable, practical clothes that let him move easily and survive touring, dirt, and repeated washing. His outfits tend to become rumpled quickly because he is constantly doing something in them.

A piece of violent acid-lime hardware is incorporated directly into his clothing. It is distinctive to him rather than a shared band accessory.

Antlers

True musk-deer antlers grow from Tōgo's head. They are real, branching structures and an ordinary part of his anatomy, not decorative accessories. They also take up space, which becomes a practical consideration in doorways, crowded rooms, unfamiliar buildings, and anywhere he gets excited enough to forget how far they extend.

His antlers are sensitive. Tōgo is careful around low doorframes and tight spaces, dislikes people grabbing them without warning, and has developed specific ways to sleep without putting pressure on them. He can still accidentally catch them on things or knock something over when his attention gets ahead of his spatial awareness.

Fangs

Tōgo has unusually long, prominent canine teeth. They are genuinely sharp and much too long to pass for ordinary human teeth, giving his smile an unexpectedly predatory appearance.

He has accidentally bitten his own lip more than once and learned to eat around his fangs without consciously thinking about it. He does not consider his teeth particularly frightening. Other people sometimes do. If someone is fascinated by them, he can become immediately enthusiastic about explaining how they work to a complete stranger.

02

Personality

Almost Aggressively Helpful

Tōgo has trouble watching someone struggle with something he knows how to solve. If someone needs help carrying something, he is already reaching for it. If somebody looks lost, he asks whether they need directions. If a person mentions being hungry, he starts thinking about food.

He genuinely likes being useful. Praise is not the point. Helping is simply one of the ways he engages with the world and shows people that he cares.

Outgoing & Curious

Tōgo likes people, meeting people, hearing about their interests, and being included in whatever is going on. He can talk to almost anyone and is easily fascinated by things other people might mention only in passing.

When something catches his attention, he wants to know more. He asks questions, leans closer, and gets visibly invested in the answer.

Earnest Enthusiasm

Tōgo has difficulty pretending not to be excited. His eyes widen, his speech speeds up, his hands start moving, and his antlers tilt along with the motion of his head. His whole body participates in a conversation when he is interested.

His enthusiasm can overwhelm quieter people. He does try to dial it back when somebody tells him he is being a lot. He is not always successful for very long.

Gentle Does Not Mean Harmless

His sweetness is a genuine personality trait, not proof that he is incapable of anger, stubbornness, jealousy, or mistakes. Tōgo can be intrusive, get carried away, and struggle to accept that someone might not want his help.

He means well, but his intentions do not automatically make every action helpful. He knows that offering help repeatedly—or simply starting to help when someone seems overwhelmed—can become annoying. He is working on it, with mixed success.

03

Emotional Life

Tōgo is emotionally straightforward. He likes people he likes. He misses people when they leave and gets excited when they return. He gets jealous, embarrassed, lonely, and hurt. His energetic personality does not make him immune to any of it.

He is not ashamed of affection. If he cares about someone, he tends to make that fairly obvious through his attention, his enthusiasm, and the practical little things he does for them.

Affection

Tōgo is physically affectionate and comfortable expressing warmth. He gravitates toward people when he is excited, enjoys closeness, and likes being trusted with something important. He can be openly delighted by another person's company without treating that affection as embarrassing.

When He Is Hurt

His openness means that exclusion and rejection can sting more than people might expect. Being deliberately left out is particularly painful for him. He may not disguise his reaction very successfully, even if he tries to keep moving and act as though everything is fine.

04

Antlers, Teeth & Everyday Logistics

Doorways He is careful around them, except when he gets excited and forgets how much room his antlers need.
Crowds He pays attention to where his antlers are in tight spaces, though he can still misjudge an awkward angle.
Unexpected Touch He hates people grabbing his antlers without warning. Curiosity does not make his body public property.
Eating He has learned to maneuver around his long fangs and occasionally reminds himself of their existence the hard way.
Sleeping He has developed specific ways to get comfortable without putting pressure on his sensitive antlers.
Explaining His Anatomy If someone asks an interesting question about his teeth, he may happily explain far more than they expected.

GOOD TEETH

Tōgo is GOOD TEETH's electric guitarist. His playing contributes atmospheric textures, intricate technical riffs, layered harmonics, melodic passages, effects, and sudden explosions of heavy guitar. He can make the instrument feel almost celestial before turning it into something aggressive and physically overwhelming.

The band's sound moves between electronic hooks, catchy songwriting, atmospheric passages, and heavy sections without treating those sounds as separate identities. Tōgo's guitar can behave like a synth, carry a melody, build a strange atmosphere, or become a weapon when the arrangement calls for it.

GOOD TEETH's members are five different musicians working together, not a collection of assigned character types. Tōgo is not the designated sweetheart, mascot, or harmless one. He is a twenty-two-year-old man who happens to be extraordinarily friendly—and who can still be stubborn, intrusive, jealous, angry, and wrong.

The Whole Tōgo

Tōgo looks like he could bite through somebody's hand. He probably could.

He is also the guy who holds the door open, carries your bags, remembers your favorite snack, and becomes genuinely excited when you tell him about something you love. His antlers and fangs are real; so is his warmth. Neither cancels out the other.

He can be stubborn, intrusive, jealous, and occasionally overwhelming. He is also curious, affectionate, emotionally open, and sincerely interested in the people around him. His first instinct is almost always to ask whether he can help.
