An enormous, sprawling modern alien city where humans, demi-humans,
monsters, and countless other species live together. Beautiful,
filthy, colorful, crowded, dangerous, affectionate, horny, violent,
mundane, and strange—all at the same time.
Major cityPlanet: CreatorNot remotely normal
Saint Jude’s Landing is not one thing. It is the late-night diner,
the factory shift, the monster in the stairwell, the couple arguing
outside a club, the impossible plant growing through a cracked wall,
and the neighbor who has seen all of it before.
Life goes on. Usually weirdly.

01 / THE BASICS
What kind of place is this?
Start here
01.01 · GENERAL
The whole ridiculous city
Saint Jude’s Landing is an enormous, sprawling modern alien city
where humans, demi-humans, monsters, and countless other species
live together. It is beautiful, filthy, colorful, crowded,
dangerous, affectionate, horny, violent, mundane, and strange
all at once.
01.02 · SOCIETY
People are people
Humans, demi-humans, and monsters are ordinary members of
society. Species, body types, ages, appearances, disabilities,
gender expressions, and relationship dynamics vary wildly.
Nonhuman beings are not inherently categorized as animals or
beasts; many are fully sapient people with their own cultures,
personalities, desires, families, and communities.
Different body ≠ lesser person.
02 / CHEMISTRY
Desire, dating & other complications
Adults being adults
02.01 · ATTRACTION
Everybody has a type
Attraction between humans, demi-humans, and monstrous species
is commonplace. Human/monster relationships, interspecies
dating, marriage, hookups, families, and long-term partnerships
are established parts of city life. Some species are considered
especially attractive or desirable by particular subcultures;
others are feared, fetishized, misunderstood, or considered
unconventional.
02.02 · MONSTERFUCKING
Not everybody wants a human
Sexual and romantic attraction toward monstrous beings is a
normal part of the city’s adult culture. Fangs, claws, tails,
horns, fur, scales, unusual anatomy, enormous size differences,
strange biology, and other nonhuman traits can be objects of
attraction. Human/monster relationships can be sweet, casual,
romantic, dysfunctional, obsessive, kinky, or complicated,
depending on the individuals involved.
The dating pool is a literal ecosystem.02.03 · RELATIONSHIPS
There is no universal rulebook
The city contains conventional couples, unconventional couples,
open relationships, possessive relationships, toxic
relationships, dominant/submissive dynamics, age-gap
relationships between consenting adults, interspecies
relationships, and partnerships that outsiders may find bizarre.
Saint Jude’s Landing does not have one universal attitude
toward relationships.
02.04 · ADULT LIFE
After dark—and before it
Dating, sex, nightlife, kink communities, fetish subcultures,
clubs, bars, brothels, pornography, prostitution, and
unconventional relationships are established parts of adult
city life. Some establishments specifically cater to
interspecies or monster-oriented communities.
03 / THE POPULATION
No standard-issue citizens
Bodies come in all forms
03.01 · CREATURES
Monster is a broad category
Monsters range from gentle and beautiful to grotesque,
dangerous, predatory, enormous, or deeply strange. Some can
pass as nearly human; others cannot. Many live ordinary lives
alongside people who would once have considered them monsters.
03.02 · PEOPLE
There is no default body
Pretty boys, femboys, short men, fat men, muscular women,
plus-size women, dad-bod men, older adults, scarred people,
disabled people, unconventional-looking people, and monstrous
or heavily nonhuman individuals are all ordinary parts of
the population.
04 / THE UGLY BITS
Bad neighborhoods, worse people
Not everything is cute
04.01 · UNDERWORLD
Crime doesn't take weekends off
Crime, organized crime, theft, violence, trafficking, black
markets, corruption, gangs, illegal businesses, and dangerous
individuals exist throughout the city.
04.02 · DARKNESS
Monsters aren't the only danger
Horrific events, abuse, murder, disappearances, exploitation,
obsession, stalking, manipulation, domestic violence, predatory
individuals, and other extreme circumstances can exist alongside
ordinary life. Not every monster is dangerous, and not every
human is safe.
05 / CULTURE
Find your people. Find your problems.
Scenes within scenes
05.01 · SUBCULTURES
A niche for every niche
Someone here is into it. Probably.
The city contains countless niche communities, underground
scenes, fandoms, fashion movements, fetish communities, music
scenes, creature communities, alternative lifestyles, and
strange local traditions.
06 / DAILY EXISTENCE
Errands still need doing
Even here
06.01 · CITY LIFE
Ordinary life in an extraordinary place
Buy groceries. Miss the bus. See something unexplainable.
Restaurants, apartments, schools, hospitals, workplaces, shops,
markets, transit stations, bars, clubs, theaters, arcades, parks,
clinics, warehouses, factories, residential streets, and
entertainment districts fill the city. Ordinary errands and
mundane personal problems happen alongside bizarre and
dangerous situations.
06.02 · NATURE
The wilderness gets in
Creator’s alien ecosystems grow directly into Saint Jude’s
Landing. Dense vegetation, strange flowers, enormous trees,
waterways, alien wildlife, and wild growth can appear between
buildings or consume abandoned structures.
06.03 · TECHNOLOGY
Modern, not cyberpunk
Modern technology is widespread and practical. Technology does
not define the city’s aesthetic or create a cyberpunk society.
Adult, strange, irreverent, romantic, erotic, violent, messy,
occasionally horrific, frequently funny, and grounded in
everyday life.
Saint Jude’s Landing / In brief
A city full of people living their lives. Weirdly.
Saint Jude’s Landing is a modern alien city where the mundane and
the extraordinary share the same streets. People work, fall in love,
get into trouble, build communities, make art, raise families,
chase terrible ideas, and carry on. The city can be funny, filthy,
tender, frightening, or beautiful—sometimes before lunch.
